Todd Charles McCole, 59, of Florence, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly on July 18, 2025, with both of the loves of his life – his wife and motorcycle. Anyone who knew Todd knew that motorcycles weren't just a hobby - they were his passion, his joy, and, occasionally, his therapy. He was born on June 2, 1966, to Charyl (Skrzyniarz) McCole and John McCole (spouse, Bev) and raised with brother, Chad McCole. Todd lived a life defined by hard work, love, and laughter. He was the beloved husband of Tricia (Kimichick) McCole for 33 beautiful years. He was the kind of man who showed up - at motocross races, baseball fields, basketball games, and anywhere else his kids needed a cheerleader, a coach, or a ride. He took pride in raising his three children, Joshua (spouse, Halley McCole), Elli (spouse, Ryan Pepin), and Nick (partner, Lauren Smith), and never missed a chance to be a part of their lives. Todd was the proud papa to his girl squad which consisted of Arabella, Josie, Charlie, Vivienne, and Lola - with one more grandbaby on the way this November, who will surely grow up hearing plenty of wild "Papa Todd" stories. Todd is also survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Bruce and Tara Laing, with their children who are some of his numerous nieces and nephews. Todd spent many years working at the local mill, building more than just a career - he built relationships, resilience, and a reputation of hard work and integrity. After retiring two years ago, he finally pursued his lifelong dream of working with his hands, starting McCole & Company with his oldest son, Josh. It was the kind of work that made him feel alive - building and creating. He could be the biggest pain in the ass - and he'd proudly agree with that title - but he had an even bigger heart. As his oldest granddaughter once said (with the kind of honesty only kids can deliver), "Papa's got a BIG heart," though she was actually referring to his stomach. He laughed the hardest at that one - and that's how we'll remember him: laughing, teasing, loving loudly, and living fully. Todd's legacy is not just in the things he built with his hands, but in the family he poured his life into. He was the best dad. The best grandpa. And somehow, even when he was driving you up a wall, you knew he'd do anything for you. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Erickson-Rochon and Nash Funeral Home in Iron Mountain. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 25th at 10:00 am at American Martyrs Catholic Church in Kingsford. Fr. Greg Heikkala will offer the Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in Dickinson County Memorial Gardens. Honored to bring Todd to his final resting place will be Joshua McCole, Nick McCole, Chad McCole, Ryan Pepin, Bruce Laing, Scott Visintainer, Mike Mainville, and Dave Steinbeck, whose lives he helped shape and whose love carried him always. The family invites friends and loved ones to share their favorite stories, photos, and memories of Todd - because that's how he would want to be remembered: with a good story, a loud laugh, and maybe a sarcastic comment thrown in for good measure. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Todd's name toward a college scholarship fund for his granddaughters - a cause that meant the world to him. Nothing made him prouder than supporting his "girl squad," and it was his dream to help them chase theirs. Condolences may be expressed to the family of Todd McCole online at www.ernashfuneralhomes.com The family has entrusted the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home of Iron Mountain with the funeral arrangements.
