Todd A. Sorensen (1991-2024)
Todd Anthony Sorensen-Our dear son, Todd, was born February 14, 1991, in Port Arthur, Texas. He passed away on July 9, 2024, unexpectedly in his sleep. Son of Paul and Kathleen Sorensen, he brought into our family wonderful gifts from his birth mother, Latisha Fontenot Proctor. Todd grew up in Tooele, Utah, and Orem, Utah. He attended Mt. View High School and was surrounded by a wonderful group of friends, to whom he offered his loyalty and love. Todd was an excellent athlete and a hard worker. He brought a lot of joy to his parents and 8 siblings. Todd earned the rank of Eagle Scout with the help of wonderful leaders and friends.
From an early age Todd exhibited significant strength in the area of communication. Todd attended Utah Valley University studying Communications. Todd was a people person and used his gifts to become an excellent salesman, having a way to create value in a product for the people he worked for and with. Todd loved the out of doors and the relationships created in those spaces. He loved basketball, pickle ball, and a variety of sports.
Todd is survived by his parents, Paul and Kathleen Sorensen; siblings, Joseph (April), Carrie, James, Jordan, Keshia (Michael) Laliberte, Alissa Davis, Katie (Coy) Weber, darling nieces and nephews; mother, Latisha (Tyrone) Proctor. He was preceded in death by his little bro', Jeremy, in 2019.
A funeral will be held for Todd on Tuesday, July 16th at 11:00, with a closed-casket visitation from 10:00 to 10:45, at Stonewood Stake Center, 450 S. 100 West, Orem.
