It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved son, father, and brother, Todd Harlen Torgerson. Todd went to be with our lord on April 6, 2025, at the age of 57. Todd was born to Harlen and Sandy Torgerson on September 26, 1967, in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
Todd is a graduate of Alexander Ramsey High School in Roseville, Minnesota. He continued his education at Saint Paul College where he became a skilled welder. He was proud of his career and later trained as an expert in the use of robotics where he spent time traveling throughout the United States to teach this skill to others.
As a child, Todd enjoyed camping with his mom, dad, sister, and cousins as well ascamping trips and riding dirt bikes with his neighborhood friends. He continued that camping tradition with his children throughout their childhood. Later in life, Todd enjoyed building projects such as decks, fences and even helped build his first home in Wyoming, MN. He also enjoyed cooking and trying new recipes and he especially liked baking as he had quite a sweet tooth. Todd enjoyed spending time with friends and family. He always said that his children were his greatest accomplishment in his life with Holly. He loved his family immensely and enjoyed spending time with them at family gatherings. He was a kind and caring person and had a tremendous sense of humor.
He could always find a way to make you laugh or smile. Although Todd is gone, he will live forever in our hearts.
Todd is preceded in death by his father, Harlen Torgerson, his grandparents, Archie and Ruth Torgerson and Carmie and Laura Jones and two uncles, Monte Jones and David Sunram.
He is survived by his mother, Sandy (Dave) Olson, his children, Erik Torgerson, Danielle (Tony) Torgerson, Grace (Dan) Fagerstrom, grandchildren, Velaiah and Everson and his sister, Stacy (Jon) Carda. He will also be missed by his aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends including his special friend, Janell Jones-Trester.
A celebration of life will be held on May 9, 2025, at 11am at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 2561 Victoria Street N, Roseville, MN 55113. A visitation with light refreshments will follow the service.
Heavens Walk
It's time for me to take the steps.
That lead to Heaven's Gate.
And with each step I'll think of you
And all the time we spent.
I am going now to paradise where.
There's only love and no Pain.
And I will wait until the time.
We see each other again.
