Todd Wade was born on September 13, 1967, in Highland Park, Illinois, the son of Floyd Ray and Shirley Faye (Wilson) Wilson.
Todd owned his own construction company for several years and later worked in the oil field. He enjoyed fishing and listening to local bands.
Todd accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior at his children's Christmas program when they were small, and he recently rededicated his life to Christ and took great comfort in knowing his last breath here would be his first breath in the arms of Jesus. Todd attended Glad Tidings Church in Toccoa, Georgia; for many years and upon moving back home he attended Olney church of God. He had a huge giving heart he would give anyone the shirt off his back if they asked for it even if they didn't ask, he would give anything he had to anyone in need. Todd loved teaching the kids to fish and work on cars. He would take his kids to work with him when he owned his construction business and taught them everything from building decks hanging off the side of a mountain to laying interior floor trim. Todd loved working and being outside. He loved grilling and was the master of BBQ grilled chicken and was an amazing cook and loved having big meals with his family. Todd loved his children and grandchildren so much he loved spending time with them all. Todd had many kids throughout the years he took in as his own and he loved all his nieces and nephews as well. His favorite titles were Dad, Papa and Uncle Todd, he wore those names proudly. Todd remained very close to both the mothers of his children Pamela Hall and Christina Cook who assisted in caring for him. Todd never wanted anyone to feel left out, he included everyone. Everyone was always welcome at his kitchen table or on his couch. He will be greatly missed by so many
