Tommie R. Anderson, age 83, of Muskego passed away on February 27, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, step daughter and grandson.
He was born January 18, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois. The son of Rose and Arthur Anderson. Tommie enlisted in the U.S. Army at the age of 17. He honorably served in the Vietnam War. He then worked at Briggs & Stratton and Miller Park.
He is remembered by his family and friends for his big humor and love of telling jokes. Tom looked forward to spending time Up North by WI Dells hunting and fishing. He loved watching his grandkids at their sporting events.
Tom had the privilege of participating in the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight to Washington DC. It was a memorable trip that honored his service in the Army and the sacrifices of fellow veterans.
Tom is survived by his wife of 31 years, Mary Ellen and her children. Therese (Tom) Howard, Susan (Todd) Adler, Jeffrey Albright, Jeanne (Chris) Bauer, Michael Zbilicki, Julie (Chris) Edgar, and son in law, Travis Vande Berg. 12 grandchildren, Rebecca, Kaitlyn, Emily, Alexander, Isabelle, Andrew, Matthew, William, Luke, Jonah, Allyson, and Ethan.
Also survived by his children, David (Lynn) Anderson, Dean (Leann) Anderson, Douglass (Jeanette) Anderson, Regina (John) Miller, and 4 grandchildren, Catania, Griffin, Emily, and Nicholas.
