Tommy Ray Bryant, age 67, of Pine Knot, Kentucky, passed away Friday, April 25, 2025, at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, Kentucky, surrounded by his family.

Born January 4, 1958, in Pine Knot, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Edward and Bessy Jane (Murphy) Bryant. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother: Marvin Bryant and four sisters: Wyona Stephens, Martha Perry, Juanita Bryant and Sifa Bryant.

Surviving family include his wife, Sheila Bryant, of Pine Knot, a daughter, Delilah Mullins, and two sons: Danny Bryant of McCreary County and and Michael Bryant, of South Carolina.

There are 21 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also surviving as well as a brother, Melvin Bryant of Strunk, Kentucky and seven sisters: Dessie Strunk of Pine Knot, Della Wright of Pine Knot, Cynthia Hicks of Pine Knot, Joyce Coomer of Winfield, Tennessee, Dora West of Pine Knot, Nora Creekmore of Silverlake, Indiana, and Delphia Davis of Pine Knot.

Tommy had been a carpenter and repaired small equipment. His specialty was building things like bird houses. He was quite an entertainer and enjoyed chainsaw art and working with his hands. He attended the Davis Hill Church of God.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 28, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. in the chapel of Pine Knot Funeral Home with Bro. Buck Cook officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 11:00 a.m. until services at 12:00 noon.

He will be laid to rest at the Bob Musgrove Cemetery in Pine Knot.
