With heavy hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of Thomas "Tommy" Stribbling on September 24, 2025. Tommy was born on February 11, 1952, in Louisville KY to Eula Stribbling (Meffert) and John Stribbling. The oldest of 3 boys. He attended Atherton high school. Tommy and his wife Pam Stribbling celebrated 33 years married and 36 years together August 1,2025.
Tommy was self-taught musician that found his love for the guitar early in life whose talent took him all around the world and back, making life-long friends along the way. And he had inside jokes with all of them. A dependable and caring man who would do anything to make you laugh. Devoted to his family who will remember him as their hero.
Tommy is preceded in death by his mother, Eula; father, John; and brother, Ray.
Tommy is survived by his wife, Pam; daughter, Carly; grandson, River; son, John (JoAnne); 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; brother, Gary (Donna); and countless nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
A celebration of life will be held at The Eagles Club at 3501 College Dr #3610, Jeffersontown, KY 40299 on November 1, 2025 from 2pm to 6pm.
