Tommy Joe Young was a man of steadfast faith and quiet strength. A devoted member of Shady Grove Pentecostal Church, he loved the Lord and found joy in serving others. For nearly thirty years, he faithfully led a prison ministry at Allen Correctional Center, sharing hope and the message of redemption with countless lives. He was devoted to his wife, Patricia, with whom he shared almost fifty-eight years of marriage, building a life rooted in love, faith, and service. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Beulah "Teenie" Young; and one brother, Reverend Steve Young.
