He was a devoted Christian, and a loving husband, brother, and uncle. David was a hardworking man who found joy in crafting knives, collecting coins, and spending time outdoors. He especially loved hunting, trout fishing, whitewater canoeing, backpacking, and hiking. With over forty years as a skilled machinist working throughout Louisiana and Arkansas, he was admired for his craftsmanship, dedication, and faith-filled life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Ann Gregory; and his parents, Cecil and Connie Gregory.
Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include three brothers, Charles Eugene Gregory of West Monroe, Joseph Connor Gregory (April) of Melder, and Robert Edwin Gregory of Elmer; one sister, Marjorie Ellene Berry (Don) of Greenwell Springs; his best friend, Charles Mark Whitaker of Mountainburg, Arkansas; and a host of nieces and nephews.
All funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale, LA.
