Toni Therese Ayers

AYERS, Toni Therese. March 16, 2024. Age 57. Beloved wife of Scott. Loving mother of Brianna (Brennen) Werr, and Olivia (James Burke). Proud and adored grandmother of Lincoln, Maylee, and Gracie. Dear sister of Linda (Tim) McNelis, John (Lisa Ribaudo) Sellors, and the late Frank (Rena) Sellors. Treasured aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Toni was born in Detroit Michigan to Frank and Clara Sellors. She grew up in Warren Michigan where she attended Centerline High School, known as an excellent athlete who played on the Soccer and Softball team. Upon graduating High School she also earned her cosmetology license and spent 39 years as a hairdresser. Toni truly loved her job and always spoke to how grateful she was for the relationships built throughout her career.
In 1981 Toni met the love of her life, her husband Scott. Toni and Scott have been married for 35 years and share two daughters, Brianna and Olivia, as well as three grandchildren. Toni was an extremely dedicated and involved mother and grandmother, always putting her family first.
Everyone who knew Toni, knew how much of a light she brought into this world. She was there for anyone and everyone who needed her. She always found a way to make people feel heard, loved, understood, and welcomed. She really was made of all the good things life has to offer.
Along with her amazing character, she will also be remembered for so many wonderful qualities like her ability to cook an excellent meal, her card playing skills, her love of being outside on a nice day and her one and only joke about a string.
We couldn't have asked for a better mother, wife, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be so fiercely missed and remembered everyday as she lives on in the hearts of the many people who loved her.
Visitation Thursday, March 21st, 2024, from 3-9pm at Wujek - Calcaterra & Sons Inc., 54880 Van Dyke at 25 Mile Rd. (Shelby Township). Funeral Friday Instate from 9:30am until time of 10am Mass at St. Paul of Tarsus Church, 41300 Romeo Plank Rd. Clinton Twp., 48038.
