Toni Lambert Phillips

Toni Lambert Phillips, affectionately known as Tooter Bug to her friends and family and Grammy to her grandchildren, peacefully passed away on January 9, 2024, at the age of 66. She was born on April 5, 1957, and leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories.
Born to the late parents James Lambert and Flora Wilson, Toni grew up in a close-knit family. She was the beloved sister of the late Thomas Lambert, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her sister Joni Whisman, who is married to Jim, and her brothers Astern Lambert, Joseph Lambert, and John Browning, who is married to Deborah. Toni's numerous nieces and nephews were a source of joy and she held a special place in her heart for each of them.
Toni was a devoted mother to her two children, Wayne Phillips and Jessica Kinzig, and a loving mother-in-law to Matt, who is married to Jessica. She was a loving Grammy to Mariah and Michelle Phillips, Hayden and Savannah Kinzig, and Eveleigh Grace Boutwell who were the lights of her life. Toni cherished every moment spent with her family and made sure they knew how deeply she loved them.
Throughout her life, Toni touched the lives of many with her warm smile and caring nature. She was always quick to lend an ear and would and often did give away her last dollar if she knew someone was in need. She had an incredible ability to make everyone around her feel valued and loved.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects and celebrate Toni's life at her funeral, which will be held on Saturday, January 13th, 2024, at 3:00 pm at Beaches Memorial Park located at 1500 Main St. Atlantic Beach, FL 32233. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The service will be a reflection of the love and joy Toni brought to all who knew her.
Her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those she loved and touched throughout her remarkable life. May she rest in eternal peace.
