Tony, when we met for the first time you told me that I am now one of your sons, a new member of your strong family, from New York to Barcelona and with me, also extended to Germany from that moment on. Without even knowing you before, I knew that you are special, and not just because Karen told me a lot about you.
Special how deep you love your wife, your kids and grandkids and everyone in the family. Special how you loved your life, to the fullest. I knew that from that moment on, you will be special, forever in my heart and mind.
Without blinking with an eye you gave me the keys to one of your cars to get bagels and coffee when we came over or even going wherever I wanted. You trusted me. I remember your fantastic Tortillas you made for us, the jokes you made about everything that came into your mind and I remember your calmness and your satisfaction, when I met you one day very early in the morning in your kitchen, on a Sunday, when you left for work to "check" if everything "is ok". This is were I joined you and took that picture and I am grateful that we could share that moment together.
I saw and felt your feelings immediately, you were happy, you were proud, you were grateful, of everything you've achieved in your life. Your business, your family, everything, in New York, and Barcelona. I think about that moment every time I wear the Toni & Sons T-Shirt you gave me that day. A tremendously proud and bold life, curious, adventurous as you are, and always full of love. Love that was and is unconditionally, big enough to carry everyone around your everywhere forever. Thanks for everything Tony, I will miss you.

Tu sobrina Karen.
