Tony Garrett Obituary
Tony Lamar Garrett, 69, a lifelong resident of Forsyth County passed away Saturday, February 15, 2025. An avid outdoorsman, hunter and fisherman, Tony was known as someone who could fix anything…but knew nothing about computers…he was always willing to help anyone. A phenomenal cook, Tony enjoyed sharing his culinary delights with everyone. Tony is preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Doris Grogan Garrett.
Survivors include his daughter, Taylor Grace Garrett; grandson, Colton Rade Garrett; sisters and brothers-in-law, Trudy and David Ayers, Regina and Tony Bennett, Pam and Jeff Stephens and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, February 22, at 11:00 a.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Pete Martin and John Nash officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.
