Tony Harper Obituary

Services will be held 11 AM, Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Ocilla, Georgia, with the Rev. Kenny Sexton and Rev. Dusty Stoey officiating. Interment will follow in the Henderson Chapel Cemetery, in Irwin County, Georgia. The family will receive friends Monday evening, from 6 PM until 8 PM, at the funeral home in Ocilla.
Mr. Harper was born June 29, 1956, in Irwin County, Georgia, to the late Talmadge & Josephine Thomas Harper. He served his country honorably in the United States Navy. Mr. Harper retired from Watco, formerly known as Fitzgerald Railcar, as a welder for 33 Years. He attended Crossview Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Jackie W. Harper of Fitzgerald; two daughters: Sabrina Dorrity & Chris of Irwin County and Kayla Wilson & Blake of Irwin County; grandchildren: Reagan Dorrity, Riley Dorrity, Case Wilson, Raney Dorrity and Cole Wilson; two brothers: Andy Harper & Fran of Fitzgerald and Michael Harper of Fitzgerald and a sister, Sandy Luther & Scottie of Fitzgerald. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Paulk Funeral Home, Ocilla, is in charge of arrangements.
