Tony was born August 3, 1945 in Sulphur Springs to parents, Woodrow Reginald "W. R." and Viola Ruth Spencer Hatfield. He was a 1963 graduate of Valley Head High School and had worked for over 30 years as a Machinist at TVA. He was of the Baptist faith and had served as a Beat Committee Person for Sulphur Springs for many years.
Survivors include wife of 55 years, Mary Lou Castleberry Hatfield. brother, Brad Hatfield(Jan), daughters, Emory Faith Cluck and Megan Cluck. Tony was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Charlie Hatfield and sister, Linda Atkins.
