Richard Anthony Hughen (Tony), 59, of Youngstown, FL., passed away on Monday, September 30, 2024.
Tony was born to Ola Margaret Langley and Woodrow Hughen, Jr., on February 19, 1965, in Pensacola, FL. He lived most of his life in Bay County, FL. he graduated from Mosley High School (but if you asked him, he would tell you he, "Graduated from WhatsAMattaWitU"). Tony was full of life and was always the life of the party. Whether it was one of his kid's birthday parties, or annual Christmas Eve family get togethers, or an Easter talent show (HAHA), he never missed an opportunity to make someone laugh and never cared what anybody else thought. He had the biggest heart and would always drop whatever he was doing to help family and friends. Even as busy as he always was, you can bet that come dinner time, he was sitting with his family, watching the Wheel of Fortune, always cheering on the yellow contestant.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, and some of the best memories. He was selflessly devoted to his family and never missed an opportunity to make amazing memories with them. Tony loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved to share his passion with his kids and grandkids. He also loved spending time in his garden, and always had all the answers on when to plant what, and how to make it grow (even though he gave away most of what he planted, that's just who he was.)
He is survived by his parents Ola Margaret Langley of Geneva, AL and Woodrow Hughen, Jr. of Chipley, FL.; his wife of 30-years, Tina Hughen; children, Stephanie Hughen and Brandon, Kayla Ranow and Scott, and Jason Yelvington; grandchildren, Ryleigh, Carter, Bella and Jasmine; brothers and sisters, Woody and Jean Hughen, Paul Hughen, Cindy and Dalee Collins, Christina and Stacy Pippin and Becky Hughen and Mike. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and even more great nieces and nephews.
There will be a celebration of life and Bear Creek Assembly of God on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at 11:00 AM. Bring your best "Tony Story", and come celebrate the life of a man that meant so much to so many people.
