Mr. Tony Earl Ivey, age 68, passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Funeral Services will be 2:00-P.M.-Sunday, October 3, 2021 at Rose and Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson, NC. Burial will follow at Roselawn Cemetery. Officiating will be Minister David Norris, II.
Mr. Ivey was born on August 15, 1953 in Harnett County to the late Hayden and Inez Martin Ivey. He was preceded in death by his sister Bobbie Waked. Mr. Ivey retired after 34 years from Chicopee.
Surviving is his wife, Cindy Ivey; son, Jermaine Hill and fiancé Javonni Smith; daughter, Savannah Hill and Chris Morris; he is also survived by children, Eric Ivey, Chris Ivey, and Christina Ivey; granddaughter, Gracie Fields; sister, Nancy Gilbert and husband Dennis; brother, Kenneth Ivey; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 12:30PM-1:30PM-Sunday, October 3, 2021 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC. Mr. Ivey was a casual and easy going man and the family requests that you dress casually for the visitation and service.
Flowers are welcomed.
In accordance with NC-COVID19 guidelines, the funeral home suggests practicing social distancing guidelines and the three W's: wait, wash, and wear a face covering. Face coverings are not required, but are kindly recommended for all services.
