Tony Joe Meares, born on August 12, 1971, in Paragould, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at the age of 53. A resident of Arbyrd, Missouri, Tony was known for his warm spirit and enthusiasm for life. He dedicated his days to caring for his family, particularly his beloved daughters, Sonya Meares and Alycia Page. Tony's legacy will also be cherished by his brother, Darrell Meares, Jr., his nephew, Darrell Meares, III, his niece, Pam Meares, his four granddaughters, and his great nieces and nephews.

Tony was a man of simple pleasures and profound passions. He found immense joy in watching NASCAR races, fervently cheering for his favorite driver, the legendary Dale Earnhardt, Sr. Whether on the track or at home, his excitement was infectious. An avid fisherman, Tony sought solace on the water, where he created cherished memories with friends and family. His love of cooking was equally evident; he took great joy in smoking food and grilling, often bringing together those he cared about around the dinner table.
Above all, Tony had a deep bond with his faithful dog, Blue, who was a constant companion in his life. Through every achievement and challenge, the loyalty of his canine friend provided him with comfort and joy.
Tony Joe Meares will be remembered for his kind heart, unwavering dedication to his family, and his passion for the things he loved. His presence will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
