Tony B. Walker, age 74, went to be with the Lord on October 23, 2025, surrounded by loved ones in the comfort of his home in Lytle, Texas.
Born on August 12, 1951, in Corpus Christi, Texas, Tony lived a life defined by love, faith, and service. For 32 years, he was a valued employee of Mission Park Funeral Chapels, where his compassion and dedication touched countless lives. Tony truly loved helping others.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harold B. Walker; his mother, Valona D. Pollard-Walker; his sisters, Dedra Martin and Lavena Halliburton; and his brother, Michael Walker.
Tony is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Elaine Walker; his children, Heather and JJ Zamora, Shane Walker, Josh and Dawn Walker, and Tonette Walker; his brother, Rick Walker, and sister-in-law, Phyllis Walker; and his cherished grandchildren: Paige, Preslie, Marley, Isabella, Ian, Juliana, Levi, Lexi, Camille, Kensley, and Liam.
Tony loved playing the guitar, singing, and sharing the word of Jesus with everyone-always with Elaine by his side since the age of 21. He recognized God's gifts in others and continually encouraged and uplifted those around him. His heart belonged to Jesus, Family, and Church.
He enjoyed his black coffee-perhaps a little too much-and never tired of hearing his favorite songs, time and again. Some of his greatest joys were teaching his grandchildren how to ride a bike, taking them on tractor rides, playing checkers and other games, and showing them how to pull off the perfect prank.
Tony was a strong man of faith who loved his wife, his family, and his Lord with all his heart. He was often the last to leave the church and the first to offer an encouraging word and a big hug.
Tony will always be loved deeply, missed greatly, and forever celebrated.
