Tonya Evette Bowden "Alvarez" was born on December 7, 1972, in Augusta Georgia to the late Louise B. Evans. She departed this life, but not from our hearts on November 17, 2025, at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta Georgia.
Tonya married Juan Alvarez. She loved to dance, sing, play her lottery and make everyone laugh. She lived her life not worrying what people had to say.
She leaves to cherish her memories four children, Laterrence Bowden, Jessica Bowden, Iesha Robinson, Andrew Robinson Jr.; husband Juan Alvarez; two sisters, Sonya Bowden and Cawanda (Wallace) McDowell; one brother , James Anthony (Mildred) Bowden; eleven grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
