Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm on Friday, May 12, 2023 at Garnand Funeral Home of Garden City. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Cornerstone Church with Pastor Raul Silva as Officiant. The burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery.
Tonya Delgado was born on May 23, 1972, in Garden City. She attended Garden City Senior High and later went to Garden City Community College and Wichita State University. She worked as a City Secretary for the City of Dumas, Medical Records & Receptionist at Garden Medical Clinic/St. Catherine Hospital, and City Clerk for the City of Deerfield.
Tonya Delgado is survived by her daughters Shaurice, Lorena, and Mireya, her cat Maynie Sue, her sister Mona Escobedo and Alicia Delgado, her brothers Ramon Delgado and Raymond Delgado, and her parents Dolores Moreno and Raymond Delgado. She is also preceded in death by her grandparents Frank and Mary Delgado and Juan and Santos Moreno, and her nephew Alvaro Delgado-Escobedo.
