Tonya Doty

Tonya Corinne Doty, age 54, of Greenville passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Corewell Health Butterworth Hospital. The daughter of James Dale & Judith Lee (Anderson) Eyer, she was born on June 6, 1970 in Grand Rapids.
After graduating from Cedar Springs High School in 1988, she began working at Wolverine World Wide and was a dedicated parts buyer who loved her career immensely.
A strong supporter of anything police and law enforcement related, she enjoyed the television program C.O.P.S., and any other police documentaries. She also delighted in time spent with her parents in Mackinaw and Saint Ignace through the years. Anyone that truly knew Tonya, understood that she did everything with her entire heart and soul; and she treasured times spent with those she cherished so deeply, especially her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and grand-kitties.
Tonya was preceded in death by her mother, Judith Lee Eyer and her brother, Jimmy Jr. Surviving are her father, James Dale Eyer; her two daughters, Felicia Holmes & Levi Henrickson and Kenda Doty; six grandchildren, Blake, Barrett, Harper, Raelinn, Mason, and Landon; nieces and nephews whom she was very close to, Amanda, Samantha, Noah, and Alek; great-nieces and nephew, Makayla, Delaney, and Breysen; her siblings, Anita & Chuck Byxbe, Brian & Melissa Foss, Tammy & William Parrott, and Kathy Gafford; her dear friends at Mission Point of Greenville; as well as her JAG family.
Honoring Tonya's wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 20, 2024 at the Greenville Community Center (900 East Kent Road, Greenville). Instead of flowers, contributions in memory of Tonya, to help offset medical expenses, would be appreciated.
