Tonya Gulley Lawless

Funeral services for Mrs. Tonya Gulley Lawless will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 5, 2024, in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Glenmora, with Reverend Greg Willis officiating. Interment will follow in Butter Cemetery, Forest Hill, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.
Ms. Lawless, 51, of Gardner, was born on March 2, 1972, and entered eternal rest on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria, LA.
Known as "Ton" to those who loved her, she was a loving sister, aunt, mother, and most of all a friend. She enjoyed spending time outside in her garden, as well as spending time with family and friends. However, what she loved the most was spending countless hours with Mamma and Poppa. Ton was a people person and never met a stranger.
Tonya was preceded in death by her mother, Florence McKinley; her father, Earl O. Gulley, Sr.; one sister, Dora "Deedee" Coker; one brother-in-law, Randy Coker; and one great nephew, Hunter Trace Gulley.
Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include one brother, Earl O. "Butch" Gulley, Jr. (Cristina); her significant other, Travis Jowers; three nieces, Laken Ebert (Brandon), Abby Crooks (Christopher), and Lauren Ebert; two nephews, DJ Jowers (Haley), and Tyler Jowers (Kamryn); one stepson, Andrew Jowers (Araceli); her son, Phillip Lawless; and eleven great nieces and nephews, Randee Fontenot, Espen Fontenot, Maci Crooks, Hadley Crooks, Gauge Jowers, Brooklyn Jowers, Lennox Jowers, Chloe Hayes, Lilli Hayes, and Waylon Hayes.
A time of visitation will be in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Glenmora, on Monday, February 5, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until time of services.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Earl O. "Butch" Gulley, Jr., Christoper Crooks, Tyler Jowers, Andrew Jowers, and Justin Gulley. Honorary pallbearers will be DJ Jowers, Brandon Fontenot, and Randee Fontenot.
