Torrance L. Alexander was born on July 12, 1971, in Wichita, Kansas, to Sandra
(Wheaton) Dale and Daniel Alexander. He grew up in Wichita with his younger
brother, Tyreese Alexander and attended Wichita Public Schools. He graduated
from Heights High School in 1989.
Torrance met his future wife, Heidi, in 1994, and together they built a loving family.
They have four children: Keyona (28), Amil (21), Casandra (17), and Kameron
(16). Torrance also adored his two grandchildren, Brylin (9) and Ivory (4 months).
He was passionate about cars, and in 2004, received his ASE certification in
autobody and collision repair. Torrance's love for cars was a constant throughout
his life, with one of his treasured accomplishments was restoring a 1970 Cutlass
Riveria, with his two sons, Amil and Kameron. Additionally, Torrance grew up
attending the Kingdom Hall with his father, and was baptized as one of Jehovah's
Witnesses on April 15, 2018.
Torrance is survived by his wife; two sons; his daughters; his brother, Tyreese
AlexanderHeather Alexander(Bondi); his mother, Sandra Wheaton (Dale), and father, Daniel Alexander, all of
Wichita, Kansas,and many nieces and nephews all of Wichita,Ks.
His warmth, passion, and devotion to his family will be remembered and cherished
by all who knew him. May his memory live on in the hearts of his loved ones.
Torrance's Memorial is at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 4 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses,3040 North Jackson Ave.,Wichita,Ks.
