Brett Daniel Aldrich, 41, of Wichita, Kansas, unexpectedly passed away on Memorial Day, May 27, 2024. Born on June 13, 1982, in Ames, Iowa, Brett was the beloved son of Douglas and Joan Aldrich.
Brett graduated from Wichita Heights High School and went on to earn his degree from Wichita State University. He had a distinguished career as an IT security analyst, contributing his expertise to Sedgwick County, the City of Wichita, and Wells Fargo.
Brett was a fun-loving, charismatic man who touched the lives of many. His passing leaves a void in our hearts, and we are deeply saddened by his loss. We will always cherish the memories we have of him and remember the joy he brought into our lives.
Brett is survived by his loving parents, Douglas and Joan Aldrich; his sisters, Michele Aldrich and Danielle Aldrich (Luciano Romero); and his former wife, Krystal Aldrich. He was a devoted father to his daughter, Emma Aldrich, and was eagerly anticipating the arrival of his son, Daniel Arthur with Gabrielle Blaine.
A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held on Saturday, June 8th, 2024 at 10 a.m. at the Downing & Lahey West location in Wichita. Thanks for being my friend in high school. Lived across the street for Heights HS and Brett would come over and play catch sometimes and give me tips to get better at baseball. Miss you buddy! Thanks for being my friend in weight training class and for all the good games of pickup basketball and dead man in the wrestling room..
