Torsten is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Shirley Crisp Carlsson, a sister; Inger Nilson, and two nephews; Mattias and Torbjorn Carlsson of Sweden.

When I was Weave Room manager at Beacon Mfg Co in Swannanoa NC we purchase Eltex for our Sulzer weaving machines. Torsten was on site for installation and training. He was a very good instructor and came to be a good friend at the time. Sorry to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers are extended to his family.
