Tracey Ellen Galloway, age 62 of Valley City, peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family on Monday, July 1, 2024. Tracey was born December 13, 1961, in Newport, Rhode Island to Ronald Kevin and Gail Joan (nee Borges) Waite. Prior to Tracey's diagnosis and battle with
Machado-Joseph Disease over 30 years ago, she was involved in competitive gymnastics and roller skating. She had the voice of an angel and enjoyed singing in church and teaching Sunday School. She enjoyed sewing, crafting and being a homemaker. She was a supermom - very involved in her daughters' dance and sports. The biggest cheerleader and supporter for her girls. Above all, Tracey loved spending time with her family and being the best mom to her girls.
Left to celebrate Tracey's life is her beloved husband, Will; her loving children Tara (Tony) Carriero, Cali (Peter) Ledger, Brynn (Tim) O'Connell and Jenna Galloway (Anthony); her 7 cherished grandchildren, Adelina and Antonio Carriero, Kyra and Stockton Ledger, Jaxson and Madelyn O'Connell and Kinslee Alessandro; her parents, Ronald Waite and Gail Waite; and numerous extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her brother, Scott Waite.
Although private services will take place, a big Celebration of Life will be held at the Galloway's family home on August 10th, 2024, at 2pm. All are invited and welcome to celebrate Tracey! Please RSVP for the Celebration of Life party to Cali Ledger (daughter) 330-321-2301.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Tracey's honor to the National Ataxia Foundation, https://www.ataxia.org/
