JACKSONVILLE - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tracy Lynn Britz on Friday, March 7, 2025. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 10, 2025, at Jones Funeral Home, Jacksonville Chapel.
Tracy was born in Pittsburgh, PA She graduated from Southwest High School in 1982. She also attended Elon for 2 years and attended Carteret Community College when she earned a degree in radiological technology. She worked at Craven Regional Hospital and also Coastal Neurological Center.
Tracy was well known for her athletic abilities as a young girl, not having any organized athletes with females her age, she played baseball with the males. She was also an exceptional basketball and softball player being a 4-year starter and was also a member of the Southwest High School marching band.
She was very loved by her family and friends and will surely be missed. Tracy was preceded in death by her mother, Alva Williams.
Survivors include her father (pops) Larry Williams; four brothers, Joe Bird and his wife, Karen, Buddy Davis, Jeff Davis and his girlfriend, Jennifer, and Todd Williams and his wife, Lela; her aunt, Debbie Kiss and her husband Joseph; and many nieces and nephews. Tracy was also Blessed to have Lisa Bryan as her best friend of 29 years.
The family will receive friends Monday morning, prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
