Tracy (Mello) Johansen, 62, of Acushnet, passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. Born in New Bedford, she was daughter of the late Arthur P Mello Jr and the late Sally (Bryda) Mello. Tracy worked many years as an Assistant Branch Manager at First Citizens Credit Union. She took immense pride in her work and cherished all of her customers, though her favorite job was being a grandmother and took every opportunity to spoil her granddaughter. In addition to her being a dog lover, enjoying new restaurants and spending time with her family, she also enjoyed going to the beach and planting flowers in her yard. She loved sunflowers and jean dresses. Her smile was infectious, and she touched the lives of everyone she met. Tracy is survived by her daughter, Allison Fenoglietto and her husband, Lewis; son, Andrew Johansen; and her granddaughter, Macy, who she proclaimed was the "Light of her life"
In accordance with her wishes, she will be cremated. To celebrate her memory, the family would like everyone to make a donation to Dana Faber's Cancer Institute - Susan F. Smith Center for Women's Cancer.
