Tracy Larue Campbell

Tracey Larue Campbell, 56, passed away October 24, 2021, at St. Dominic in Jackson. Visitation will be 5pm-8pm Wednesday at Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst. Service will be 10am Thursday at Stringer Family Chapel with a 2pm graveside service at Providence Cemetery, 1264 Clear Springs Road, Meadville, MS. Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst is handling arrangements.
Mrs. Campbell's children and grandchildren were her heart and soul. She loved flowers, gardening, hunting, and cooking. She loved anyone she met. Family time was her favorite time. She loved all holidays especially Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. She was so much to so many people. She never met a stranger. She had a deep soul that loved music and all things art.
Tracy lived life to the fullest. She is going to be missed dearly by all that knew her. She leaves a huge void in this family. She loved God and clung to him in her darkest days. She's at peace now.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Daphne Sandifer Shepherd; father, James Maxwell Shepherd; and nephew, Justin Shepherd.
She is survived by her husband, William Campbell; sons, Roman Turnage (Victoria) and Nick Bratcher (Ashlee); daughters, Julie Jones (Owen) and Jennifer Barnidge (Shane); step-daughters, Elizabeth Renfrow (Brian), Amanda Barron (Kyle Seevers), and Katrina Johnston (Eddie); brother, Max Shepard (Frances); and grandchildren, Skylar Clark, Charley Jones, Troy Turnage, Aiden Turnage, Memphis Barnidge, Myles Barnidge, ReaRea Renfrow, Brian Renfrow, Jaden Barron, Ireland Seevers, Ashten, Alanna, Kale, Haidon, Miya, and Michael Johnston, Gunnar, Booker, and Magnolia Bratcher.
