Tracy Marshall Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home on Nov. 22, 2024.
The funeral service for Tracy Marshall, 41, of Ipswich, SD, will be 12:00pm, Monday, December 2, 2024 at First Baptist Church in Ipswich, SD, with Pastor Dan Kuno officiating. Burial will follow at Miranda Cemetery in Miranda, SD. A lunch will follow back at the church following the burial. Tracy died Thursday, November 21, 2024, at home in Ipswich, SD.
Visitation will be 1:00pm-3:00pm, Sunday, followed by a prayer service at 3:00pm at Spitzer-Miller Funeral Home, 1111 South Main Street.
Tracy was born on September 12, 1983 to Dale and Leah (Livermore) Wilkinson in Frankfort, Germany. She grew up in Faulkton, SD, where she graduated from high school. She worked at the Faulkton Nursing Home, 212 Café, and a daycare for 8 months after graduation until she saved up enough money to move to Aberdeen.
In 2005, Tracy inserted herself in Dusty Marshall's life through mutual friends and claimed him as her one true love. In less than 2 weeks they were married on September 2, 2005. To this union they had five wonderful children that Tracy doted on. Her children came above all else. She was a CNA at a variety of locations and will be remembered fondly for her attention, compassion, and skill for the clients she took care of.
Tracy had a quirky, fun-loving smile that brightened the hearts of everyone she knew. She was very spontaneous and adventurous which showed in her love of moving, either between cities or states. She was outgoing, loved fishing, collected antique glass, and going thrifting; always trying to get the best bargain.
Grateful for having shared Tracy's life are her husband, Dusty Marshall; children, Alexia Marshall, George Marshall III, Colden Marshall, Tristan Marshall, and DixieGrace Marshall; parents, Dale Wilkinson Jr. and Diane Wilkinson; siblings, Shane Wilkinson, Cynthia Soll, Tabitha Woods, and Crystal Nichols; and many more loving friends and family.
Preceding Tracy in death are her paternal and maternal grandparents and her mother, Leah Dankers Wilkinson.
