TRAVIS LAMONT BENARD

Travis Lamont Benard entered eternal rest on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at the age of 48. He was a native of Marrero, LA and a resident of New Orleans, LA. Travis was educated in the Jefferson Parish School System, and he was employed as a roofer. Beloved father of Trashonda Henry and Tra’ona (Jeremy) Sylve. Son of Robert Fields, Jr. and the late Luella Benard. Grandson of the late Sam and Mary Ellen Benard, Robert, Sr. and Sue Fields. Brother of Robert Fields, III, Derrick Benard, Damien (Nina) Johnson, Tedra Benard, and Kalicia (Najireh) Joseph. Nephew of the late Willie Benard, also survived by 3 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, LA on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at 10:00a.m. Pastor Nelson Dexter, Jr. officiating.
