Strong hands, hard work, he always persevered Yes, we loved this great man of steal. Outdoors was where you'd find him "What are you doing?" He'd say, "aww just piddlin" The carport was our gathering place Around the table and Bonnie said grace. Army stories just wouldn't fly Without Quarter Pounders and Apple Pie. When grands came to visit Grandaddy and Nancy gave huggles and kisses. Laughter always filled the air Daddy's humor, you couldn't compare. Stories from his childhood he loved to share Laughter again, would fill the air. Sibling rivalry between sister and brother But they always seemed to love one another. German Shepherds, Dachshunds, and Pits Daddy loved them all, and they loved him. Prowling around trips they did make To visit their kids for coffee and cake. Fishing, boating, skiing and sun The four of us girls always had fun. Beach trips, fireworks, 4th of July River life, sand bars and beautiful skies!
These are the things we'll always cherish, see you soon when we all get to Heaven! We love you, Daddy, Grandaddy and Travis!
