Travis Frampton Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Simpson Funeral Home - Webb City on Feb. 3, 2026.
-Lovingly written by the family-

Travis Roy Frampton, 42, of Wyandotte OK, passed away on January 21, 2026 after a 3 three-month battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born on October 28, 1983 to Roy and Bernadette Frampton in Pleasant Hill, MO. He was the youngest of a combined family and had five siblings, two sisters and three brothers. His sister, Leah was 3 when he was born but all the others were teenagers and they all cherished the joy that Travis brought to the house. Travis was unfortunately plagued with health issues (he was allergic to a lot of different foods as a child and as an adult struggled with gout and severe psoriasis) but he never let those things slow him down. After getting his GED in 2001, he was a valued employee for many years at Longhorn Steak House both in Lees Summit MO and Joplin MO.

In 2020, Travis met his wife, Ellie Wilder, and her children Jayden, Tommy, Nicky, Faith and Cadence. He loved all of them very much and immediately felt like a father to all of the kids.

Travis enjoyed cooking and trying new recipes. He could dirty every single pot, pan, dish and piece of silverware in the house making burritos for you. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed Calvin and Hobbes and the Simpson's when he was little and George Carlin when he was older. He said that the music of Jelly roll described some of how he felt, especially the song "Save Me". One of his friends described him as "one of the most authentic, genuine and chillest dudes ever."

When he was very young, he was engulfed in a wonderful family, a second family to him, the Taylors. All of them, but in particular the ones nearest in age to him (Alec, T.J., Zach and Hilary) and their mother and father (Kathy and Lee) took him into their hearts and were there for him many times when he needed a friend. He learned to love God with the Taylors and that love was a great help to him when he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.

Travis was predeceased by his brother Jack and his father, Roy. He is survived by his wife Ellie, his children Jayden, Tommy, Nicky, Faith and Cadence, his mother Bernadette, his sisters Leah and Andrea, and his brothers Randall & Sam.

Services will be held on February 21, 2026 from 1 to 3 pm, with food and fellowship to follow at the Victory Assembly of God, 12313 Nettle Drive, Neosho MO, 64850.

Cremation is under the personal care and direction of Simpson Funeral Home. The family encourages relatives and friends to visit www.simpsonfh.com to share photos and memories of their loved one, Travis. His life was a testament to the quote by Ralph Waldo Emerson, "It is not length of life, but depth of life." Let us remember Travis for the depth of life he lived, the lives he touched, and the love he shared.
