Travis Freeman Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by McGill Click Funerals & Cremations - Loudon on Mar. 24, 2024.
Travis Jason Freeman, age 51 of Loudon, passed away following a lengthy illness Wednesday, March 20, 2024.
Travis was born in Chattanooga to Bobby D. and Deborah Sue (Womack) Freeman. Travis proudly served in the US Army, Airborne Division. He had an adventurous spirit and loved to explore and travel. Travis knew everything there was to know about snakes, how to identify them and their natural habitats which came in mighty handy as he enjoyed nature and the great outdoors. He loved to pitch in and was generous with his time and talents. A simple man with a heart of gold.
Travis started his work career as a plumber building hospitals in Tampa. Along the way he developed a passion for building computers and that's what kept him focused during his long battle with cancer. He was tenderly cared for by his mother until the end.
Travis was preceded in death by his father Bobby Freeman and his step-father, the man who raised him, Mackey Pell and his sister, Kristie Belina Freeman.
Survivors include his devoted mother, DeeDee Pell, brother, Dustin Freeman; half-sister, Brittany Freeman; nieces and nephews, Christopher (Jessica) Arreguin, Daniel Espinoza, Alexandra "Sassy" Bega, Ryan Freeman, Rosaleena Freeman, Delfino Ojeda; step-brothers, Mark, David, Michael and Randy Pell; step-nieces and nephews, Ashley Pell, Kayla Pell, Logan, Gavin, Chad Pell and Gina Dukes.
Services honoring and remembering Travis will be held 2:30 PM Thursday, March 28th at New Life Family Worship Center with Rev. Jeff Schrimsher officiating. Interment to follow in the Loudon County Memorial Gardens, Lenoir City with military honors provided by the Loudon County Veterans Honor Guard. The family will receive friends 1:00 – 2:30 PM prior to the service at New Life Family Worship Center, 8735 Hwy 72 N, Loudon.
