Travis A. Garoutte, 35, of Topeka, died January 3, 2024, at his home. He was born February 17, 1988, in Hutchinson.
Travis graduated from Hutchinson High School in 2006. Following graduation, he served his country in the United States Air Force as a Calibration Technician. He enjoyed gaming, reading, and watching football in his spare time. Travis was a loving and devoted son, brother, grandson, godfather, and friend.
Travis is survived by his: father, Mark Garoutte of Hutchinson; Debora Garoutte of Newton; brother, Adam Garoutte of Hutchinson; godson, Holden Setzkorn of Wichita; aunt, Mandie Garoutte of Hutchinson; uncle, Allan (Mary) Garoutte of Hutchinson; cousins, Hope and Destiny Yohn of Hutchinson, and Aryn (Michael) Setzkorn of Wichita; and grandmother, Evelyn Garoutte of Hutchinson.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Edward 'Tex' Garoutte.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, January 19, 2024, at Elliott Mortuary & Crematory, Hutchinson, with Chaplain Ryan Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson. Military Honors will be conducted by the McConnell Air Force Base Honor Guard. Family will greet friends from 9 a.m. to service time on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Travis Garoutte Memorial Fund, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
