Travis Wade McCray

Travis Wade McCray, a lifelong resident of Livingston, Louisiana, passed away at his home on July 21, 2025, at the age of 44. A devoted father, son, brother, uncle, and friend, Travis will be remembered for his generous heart, his infectious personality, and his unwavering willingness to help others. Travis was the proud owner of McCray Flooring and was well known in his community for his hard work and dedication. He had a true gift for cooking and was especially known for boiling some of the best crawfish around. Whether it was a family gathering or a local fundraiser, Travis was always ready to lend a hand and share his talent-often donating his time and culinary skills to support those in need. He is survived by his loving children, Chelsea, Alexis, Dylan McCray, and Jolie Hanna; his mother, Joyce McCray; siblings, Shane McCray, David Sibley, Kelvin Tigner, and Stacy Sibley; and his great aunt, Hazel Lott. He also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends who will miss him deeply. Travis is preceded in death by his father, Kelvin Sibley; maternal grandparents, Ray and Norma McCray; paternal grandparents, W.H. and Dorothy Sibley; his sister, Debbie Sibley; and uncles, Roger McCray and John Sibley. To know Travis was to love him. His presence lit up a room, and his absence leaves a void that can never be filled. He will be forever remembered and deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
