Travis Stauffer Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Kloecker Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. - Erie (a.k.a. Francis V. Kloecker on Jul. 17, 2024.
Travis Wyatt Stauffer, 40, of Harborcreek, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024. He was born in Erie on August 27, 1983, a son of Carol (Cuba) Stauffer and the late Gerald Stauffer.
Travis graduated in 2003 from Harbor Creek High School. He started his career at Ferraro Ford and went on to work at S&G Maintenance, formerly known as Tim's Maintenance for over 20 years. Most recently, he worked at Cleveland Brothers Equipment Company as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic. Travis took a lot of pride in his work. He was a dedicated employee with an impeccable work ethic. He put his heart and soul into his work and was very passionate about what he did. He was a Jack of all trades; Travis could truly fix everything and anything. He loved his smoker and smoked all types of food no matter the season. He loved looking for recipes and planning weekend get togethers in his garage with friends. He enjoyed planning yearly vacations with his wife and daughter, having an agenda every day filled with something fun and exciting. Travis had the gift of gab and had a presence about him that made others feel comfortable. He was outgoing and never knew a stranger. He was a great friend to many and always there if you needed him. Above all, his love for his daughter was immeasurable. Travis was one of a kind. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
Travis is survived by his wife of 11 years, Kathryn "Katie" (Majewski) Stauffer, daughter, Claire Stauffer, his mother, Carol (Cuba) Stauffer, brothers, Christopher Stauffer (Krista) and Dennis Stauffer (Heather), nieces and nephew, Ash, Emily, Ellie, and Ryan Stauffer, mother-in-law, Maryellen Burkett (Ted), and brothers-in-law, Matthew Majewski (Jennifer) and Stephen Majewski. Many, many close friends also survive.
Friends are invited to a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mercy Church 837 Bartlett Rd. Harborcreek, PA 16421 on Tuesday, July 23 at 10 am. The Kloecker-Bailey Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. is handling the arrangements.

The first time I met Travis was when a little 5 year old Travis walked into Rolling Ridge Kindergarten. He was a sweet little guy and a hard worker... I see none of that changed. His passing will leave a void in the hearts of many. Heartfelt sympathy to his mom and family.

I'm saddened to hear Travis has passed. He was a awesome person. Jack of all trades, so much knowledge of everything, master mechanic and I could go on. I wish I had seen him more since graduating with him. I really do. Regardless, I would rather honor him. Condolences to his family, Katie and his beautiful daughter. It's shocking and very sad hearing he passed. Just remember the amazing person he is and was. Never forget, he will always be with you in your hearts, mind and soul.
