Trent Glisson Obituary

He cherished his family, especially his parents Kevin and Brenda Glisson; sister Summer Glisson; grandparents Helen Glisson, Roger and Chae Huggins; uncles and aunt Jason and Tina Gibson, Ray Glisson; cousins Aaron and Matt Glisson, Jacob and Lauren Gibson; his fur baby Luna; and his many friends, never failing to spread love and kindness to all those around him. Whether he was on stage performing or spending time with his buddies, Trent's vibrant spirit and genuine character touched the lives of many.
A celebration of Trent's life will be held from 5:00 - 6:00 pm on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at First Assembly of God, 777 S. Myrtle School Rd. Gastonia, NC 28052. The family will receive friends following the service from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the church. Friends and family will gather to honor his memory and the profound impact he had on those he knew and loved. May his legacy of love and faith live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather David Glisson.

Kevin, Brenda, and Summer, I couldn't believe when I read Kevin's post about Trent. I can't imagine your heart-break and shock. Parents never should have to see their child go before them. I told Summer I do know the pain of losing a big brother unexpectedly. Trent was such a sweet and talented guy. I always enjoyed talking with him and going all over town to hear him sing. The four of you were part of the blessings we met at Revolution. We know He had a relationship with our Lord, and he is now in His presence. I pray you find peace and comfort in that. We are promised we will know as we have known for Eternity in Heaven, worshipping our Savior forever, so we know we will see Trent again. We've been praying, and will continue.
