Trisha Marie Mrozek passed away on May 29, 2025, in Buchanan, Michigan. Born on August 17, 1969, in Michigan City, Indiana, Trisha's life was a testament to her selfless nature and unwavering strength.
Trisha's life was filled with love, laughter, and purpose. She was the devoted mother of Casey Parish, Rebecca Manolovits (Trevor Rohring), Abbigayle Mrozek, and Payton McCloy (James Miller), and the cherished "bonus mom" to, Jillian Lloyd, Jesse Price, Cassandra Medlock, China Bendiner, and Colin Bendiner. Trisha was the proud "NeNe" to six grandchildren, Aiden, Rohan, Isabella, Robert, Michael, and Colton, and three bonus grandchildren, Bellamy, Oaklee and Lincoln. Her greatest joy was being with them cuddling for movies, cheering them on, or simply being present in their lives. Trisha is also lovingly remembered by her siblings, Matthew (Stefanie) Koehler, Christine Hull, and Erin Nahrwold; her niece and nephew, Bridget and Declan Koehler, and cousins, Monica Tannahill, Tim Gleason, and Debby Gleason. Her closest friends, Peggy Wickersham, Melissa Nelson, and Sarah Curtis were by her side throughout the years, sharing countless memories and laughter. Trisha's cat, Sage was her world.
Trisha was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Kathy; fathers, Pete and Clare, and big brother, Rob.
Trisha's academic achievements were marked by the attainment of a bachelor's degree, which served as the foundation for her successful career in business management. Her professional life was characterized by a passion for service and a dedication to excellence.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Trisha was a woman of many interests and talents. Her creativity knew no bounds as she enjoyed her Cricut machine, often manifesting in beautiful items she crafted and sold to support those in need. Trisha's independence and headstrong nature were matched only by her selflessness. Her home was a sanctuary for anyone seeking comfort or refuge, and her role as NeNe was embraced with an outpouring of love for her grandchildren, who adored her deeply.
A diehard Michigan football fan, Trisha's energy on game day was unmatched-except by the boundless love she had for her grandchildren and her beloved cat, Sage.
Trisha also found deep friendships and community in her online world. Through games like World of Warcraft and Disney Dreamlight Valley, she connected with people across the globe. Known to many as "Lotus," she formed a second family in these virtual realms. What began as gaming, became true companionship and her online friends became as close as kin.
Trisha loved all types of music but had a great appreciation for Maroon 5 and 80's music, especially Prince's Purple Rain. She also enjoyed the simple pleasures of watching movies such as one of her favorites, Grease and diving into a good book. Trisha's affection for the lake was more than a pastime; it was a reflection of her soul. Above all, she enjoyed her late night phone calls with her cousin Debby.
Those who knew Trisha would describe her as loving, courageous, and selfless. She faced life's challenges with a brave heart and always put the needs of others before her own. Her presence was a source of stability and warmth, and her legacy will be cherished through the countless lives she touched.
