Tristan Howarth

Tristan Adele Howarth, 55, of Worthington, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on January 26, 1970, in Toledo, Ohio, Tristan was the beloved daughter of the late Louis J. Howarth and Shalmir A. Howarth. She attended Malabar High School and grew up with a vibrant spirit and a gift for connecting with others, qualities that carried into her lifelong career as a hairstylist. For more than 35 years, Tristan proudly served the Clintonville community, where her clients became friends and her salon chair was a place of comfort, laughter, and encouragement. Tristan's greatest joy in life was her children. She is survived by her loving children, Deven B. Howarth-Green and Dalton E. Howarth-Green; her precious dog, Loki; her mother, Shalmir W. Howarth; her stepmother, Harriet Howarth; and her brother, Tim (Cathy) Howarth. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and dear friends who were family to her, all of whom will remember her warmth, generosity, and unwavering strength. She was preceded in death by her partner in life, Mark E. Green; her father, L. Joseph Howarth; and her stepfather, Donald Kehler. Tristan will be remembered for her creativity, her resilience, and her ability to light up a room with her laugh. She touched countless lives and leaves behind a legacy of kindness, beauty, and love. Visitation will be held at Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High St., Worthington, OH 43085, on Sunday, October 12, 2025, from 2–4 p.m., immediately followed by a memorial service at 4 p.m.
