THOMPSON, Mrs. Trudy Priddy, 62, of Quinton, Va., passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2012. She was a published author. Trudy is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, J.D. Thompson; daughters, Theresa Briggs (William Briggs Jr.) and Michelle Thompson; three grandchildren, Zachary, Kyle and Dakota. The family will receive friends at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, Va. 23231, on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 12 at 2 p.m. in the Nelsen Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association National Office, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Floor 17, Chicago, Ill. 60601, or alz.org.
