Truman Jessie Roach, age 95, of Jasper, Georgia, passed away Monday, January 20, 2025 at Pruitt Health in Jasper. He was born August 4, 1929 to James Calvin and Dora Green Roach in Tate, Georgia.
Mr. Roach is survived by his son, Willie Stephens; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives; his extended family, the children of the late Dr. and Mrs. T. C. Boswell - Donna Boswell Kennedy, Tommy Boswell, and Stacy Boswell.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Essie Mae Roach; sister, Mary Lois Moore; brothers, James Chester Roach, Grady E. Roach, William Preston Roach; and extended family member, Sandy Boswell.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 26, 2025 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Tate, GA. Interment will follow at Lake Forest Memorial Park at 280 Camp Road; Jasper, GA 30143.
The family will be receiving friends at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church on Sunday, January 26, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
The family will accept flowers or you may make memorial donations to the Mt. Calvary Church Fund.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.

My uncle Truman was really a "TRUE MAN." A plethora of knowledge and love for everyone. Uncle Truman never met a stranger. He is with his Lord and Savor Jesus Christ. Never heard him say a negative thing about anyone.
