Mr. Truson Warnell Hysmith age 80 of Wewahitchka Florida went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 13th, 2024. He was born in Chipley, Florida on May 7th, 1944 to the late General Hysmith and Beulah Waynegate.
Truson is preceded in death by his parents Beulah and General Hysmith, his wife Dorothy Hysmith of 57 years; his brothers Filmore Hysmith, and Fred Jr. Hysmith; his sister and brother-in-law Virginia Ruth and Cicero Hoover; Granddaughter Tabitha Daniels, and son-in-law John Daniels Jr.
Truson is survived by his two children Wanda Daniels and Jessie Hysmith; Grandchildren Kelly Angelino, Rebecca Simpson (John), Cory Peoples (Jaimie), Jessica Hoover (Chris), Christopher Hysmith (Ferne), Alex Hysmith (Kennedy), Devin Hysmith (Lauryn), Brianna Hysmith, Sailor Hysmith, and great-grandchildren the eldest being Daren and Taylor Angelino, along with many more.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Central time on Thursday, July 18. 2024 at Westside Baptist Church in Wewahitchka, Florida.
Funeral services will begin at 2:00 P.M. Central Time on Friday, July 19, 2024 at Westside Baptist Church with Pastor Derrick Gerber officiating. Interment will follow at Roberts Cemetery in Wewahitchka, Florida
Serving as pallbearers will be Cory Peoples, Christopher Hysmith, Alex Hysmith, Devin Hysmith, Sailor Hysmith, and Chris Hoover.
Arrangements are entrusted to the caring staff of Comforter Funeral Home in Port Saint Joe, FL.
