Tupou-Taise Victoria Fehoko, known to those who cherished her as "Bo," left us unexpectedly in the early morning hours of August 11, 2024.
Bo began her earthly journey at War Memorial Medical Center in Wailuku, Maui, Hawaii on February 1, 2002. She immediately became a part of the Lahaina Tongan Catholic Community at Maria Lanakila Catholic Church.
As a child, she loved the movie "Lilo and Stitch" because it reminded her fondly of her birthplace.
Bo brought joy to everyone the moment she made her appearance, and it continued to be her legacy each day she walked this earth. She was the cutest, most congenial baby who grew into such a kind and compassionate young adult.
Bo moved to Ohio with her mother and siblings where she became a fast friend to anyone who was lucky enough to meet her. She graduated from Toledo Early College and worked at Lane Bryant and the Toledo Hospital.
Her goal was to become a nurse, and anyone who knew Bo, knew she would make an incredible one. Her humor, kindness and compassion would have perfectly suited her for that role.
Tupou is proceeded in death by her cousin, Joey, who we know was there to greet her with a hug and a laugh as she entered Heaven.
She is survived by her father, Epafasi "Fasi" Fehoko (Kalolaine) and her half siblings, Hilary Feofoofani, Villami Paula Sio, and Paea Tomasi Noel.
She is also survived by her mother, Alysia Olivier-Fehoko (Ben); sister, Mele Paini; brother, Lotoha'anga "Mikey"; her Grandpa, Mike Olivier; Grandma, Deb Romano; Papa, Scot Romano and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who adored her.
Family and friends may visit on Thursday, August 22, 2024, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 W Sylvania Ave, Toledo, Ohio 43613. Her family has asked that you wear lavender or purple (Bo's favorite color) to celebrate the beautiful human that Bo was and her life that was taken far too soon.
Bo will then be flown to Maui with her parents and siblings where she will be received by a traditional Tongan ceremony and laid to rest in the place where her journey began.
A GoFundMe has been created to assist with funeral service costs. Remaining funds will be contributed towards Mele and Mikey's educational funds.
