Twiala Victor went home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 12, 2025. She was born to Walter and Joy Goertzen on August 11, 1944. Twiala was preceded in death by her husband, Deb Jones "Sonny" Victor Jr.; one son, Deb Jess Victor; her parents, Walter and Joy Goertzen; a brother, Joe Goertzen; a brother-in-law, Dale Horton; and a sister-in-law, Cynthia Alyce Victor.

Twiala was a graduate of Oklahoma State University and a lifelong Cowboys fan. She was a longtime educator at Valliant Public Schools where she poured her heart into every student who walked through her classroom door for more than 40 years. The joy of her life was caring for her family. Twiala was a beloved wife, mother, and Grannie. The world will feel more empty without her presence. She had a gift for making others feel special, appreciated, comforted, and remembered. Her love and kindness enriched the lives of those she touched.

Twiala leaves to cherish her memory her son, Breze Victor, of Idabel, OK; her grandson, Vance Victor, of Tulsa, OK; granddaughter, Paedyn Hegland, of Idabel, OK; her sister, Jan Horton of Purcell, OK; a daughter-in-law, Martha Battles; two aunts, Arlene Goertzen and June Lions, as well as a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
