Ty Humrichouser, age 59, of Holmesville, Ohio ended his journey with cancer Thursday afternoon, January 6, 2022 at LifeCare Hospice surrounded by his family.
Visitation with family and friends will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, Jan. 10th at Alexander Funeral Home, Millersburg, Ohio. Everyone who attends is asked to respect the family's wishes by wearing a mask and appling the rules of social distancing. Those wishing to share a memory or make online condolences may do so by visiting www.alexanderfhinc.com.
Family suggests memorial contributions be made to PNC Bank in Millersburg to be put towards his son's future.
Ty was born August 28, 1962 in Millersburg, Ohio and was the son of Thomas (Jeanette) Humrichouser of Holmesville and Joanna Ferguson of Frazeysburg. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Billie Jo (Bailey) Humrichouser and his son and whole world, Justin Humrichouser of the home.
Surviving in addition to his parents, wife and son are his siblings, Mitzi Staples, Christie (Mark) Crabiel, Matt (Sheryl) Ferguson, Marty (Wendy) Ferguson and Marla Ferguson; numerous nieces and nephews; in-laws, Russ (Carolyn) Foster; sisters-in-law, Brenda (Tim) Kopp and Shelly Blakley; and his special dog, Jersey.
Ty was a graduate of Waynedale High School. He worked for Troyers Trail Bologna. In his spare time he enjoyed driving his dune buggy and being a DJ. He coached his son in baseball for many years and enjoyed spending time with his family especially on beach vacations. In his spare time he spent countless hours at his favorite store Dollar 1, where he was a frequent shopper.
The family wishes to express a heartfelt Thank You to LifeCare Hospice and to Heidi Lemon for all of the love, care and support that was given to Ty and his family.
