With deepest regret we announce the passing of Tyler David Guy of Dade City, Florida. Tyler, known as "TG" or "T-Man", passed away Sunday, August 10, 2025, in Tampa, Florida at the young age of 33. Tyler was born in Tampa on October 12, 1991, to parents David and Angie Guy. He is survived by his wife Anjali (Sequeira) Guy, his parents David and Angie Guy, his brother Jacob Guy, his grandmother Sheila Alligood, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his Grandparents John W. and Catherine Guy, Grandfather James C. Alligood, and Grandmother Patricia Chumas.

Tyler and Anjali were married April 12, 2025, in Longboat Key, Florida in front of many family and friends. They resided in Dade City with their pets Bolt and Athena. He worked as a Physical Education teacher at Centennial Elementary where he positively affected many lives of the students, their families, and faculty during his tenure.

Tyler attended the Pasco County schools of San Antonio Elementary, Centennial Middle, Zephyrhills High School, and graduated from Freedom High School in Tampa in June of 2010. His primary and secondary education years included numerous accolades in both sports and education. He then attended the University of South Florida in Tampa where he majored in Criminology. He also played football for the USF Bulls and graduated August 8, 2015.

Tyler had many hobbies. He loved to fish, hunt, and play golf. He was a football and baseball enthusiast. He was a great cook, grill master, and recently mastered his charcoal smoker. He lived to cook for his family and friends, always trying out new recipes earning him the nickname "T-Flay". Tyler loved going to the beach, fishing in the gulf, and hunting in Alabama with his father and brother. He was also active in the community teaching youth soccer and volunteering for the local elections' office for over fifteen years.

Tyler loved his family and friends above all else, but he also never met a stranger. He was ever ready with a helping hand, a heart-felt embrace, a quick smile, and witty remark. The number of lives he touched in his short time here is vast and the profound impact of his passing is felt far and wide.

A celebration of life will be held for Tyler on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at the Discover Fellowship Church located at 12561 Smith Road in Dade City, Florida. Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. with a service conducted by Senior Pastor Randy Huckabee beginning at 5:00 p.m. Arrangements for the celebration of life are being handled by Hodges Family Funeral Home of Dade City.
