Tyler Overton Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 21, 2010.
Tyler Dell Overton Our wonderful son, brother, father and friend passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 21, 2010. Tyler was born Jan. 4, 1975 in Provo, Utah to Glen and Kim Overton. He attended Provo schools and graduated from Timpview High School. Tyler was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was an Eagle Scout. He touched the lives of many people with his humor, laughter, and tender heart. He was truly a friend to everyone. He loved music – playing and composing. He also loved doing anything outdoors. But more than anything he loved his little daughter, Skye. Tyler knew the value of friendship and helping others. People always knew where they stood with Tyler. He would defend his family and friends, sometimes to a fault. Those who really knew Tyler, knew they had a friend for life. He is survived by his parents, his daughter, Skye, five brothers, Chris (Jenny), Todd (Tanya), Ryan (Megan), Jared (Kristen), Jordan (Jennifer), two sisters Jennifer (Cris Cannon), Amy (John Wadsworth) and many nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 28 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hillside Chapel, 1900 No. 1500 East, Provo. Viewing that morning beginning at 9:00 a.m. Interment will be at the East Lawn Memorial Hills Cemetery. “Tyler, we will miss you more than words can express. We love you and look forward to being together again. -Your Family
