Tyler Rhoades Obituary
From a very young age, Tyler would light up a room with his infectious smile and charming personality. He lived life with a servant's heart and was always around to cheer someone up during their difficult times, regardless of what was going on in his own life. He would do anything for those he loved. He would sing a song, tell a joke, or he would cook a meal (but would leave the mess) just to make someone feel better. Tyler enjoyed spending time with his family and relaxing at the beach on his days off. There were many times that Tyler would be either singing, dancing, or doing backflips. He enjoyed his life to the fullest and he loved to be around people. He enjoyed numerous trips, concerts, and his love of music and performing led him to an AGT audition. His passion for performing was evident at Twisted Fork where he lit up the room whenever he stepped foot on stage.
Survived by his parents, David (Malerie) Rhoades and his mother, Jaime (Ralph) Blevins (Orlandi), of Port Charlotte; three brothers, Jordan (Mikayla) Rhoades, Derek (Natalyn) Rhoades, Preston and sister, Bella. Tyler is also survived by nieces, Maleah (3), Mikasa (2) and Lilah (5mos), and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents and Great Grandparents.
There will be two Memorial services celebrating Tyler's life:
Friday, December 22, 2023, at 12:30 pm at New Day Christian Church, 20212 Peachland Blvd., Port Charlotte, FL 33954. Following the service there will be a Celebration of Life event at
The Twisted Fork, 2208 El Jobean Rd., Port Charlotte, FL 33948
Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at 6pm at New Life Baptist Church, 7780 W. Locust St., Davenport, IA 52804 with a reception following.
As Tyler would want it, all are welcome and "come as you are". (No need for formal black attire.)

We personally didn´t know Tyler but was lucky to have him as a server at the Twisted Fork and even was able to hear him sing. He made an impression on us. He was very personable and easy to talk to. We feel very lucky to have been able to have met him.

Tyler. I am wholeheartedly thankful that during this lifetime, my children were able to call you a friend. A great friend! Although you and I never "officially" met., I know you Tyler. Your infectious smile, tender heart, energetic demeanor and passion for living life hard will always live on through them. Through many. The love for you in this community and BEYOND is so moving. This young man was truly amazing and you knew he enjoyed what he was doing for work. Always smiling always tentative. Honestly I would look forward to seeing him each week as I’ve gone there almost consistently each week for close to 2 years now. I’m in shock still truly hit me hard and I was only a patron to him. I truly feel blessed I was able to know this man. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends!!!!!!

Tyler was our daughter; Kaila´s, best friend since high school. They were like siblings and he quickly became like our son. Tyler was always there for Kaila through anything good or bad. He had the best personality and always offered to help us with anything. And oh, could he sing and just got better and better. He had such a bright future ahead of him. Our hearts are so broken. This is a hard loss for all of us and everyone that knew him. I hope Tyler is singing in Heaven and reunited with his beloved pets. We love you Tyler. Teresa and Michael Whitbeck
